Hourly Rate for Graphic Design: $50.00
FLAT FEES
Book Design – Interior – Design and production of mostly-text, black and white interior of book with occasional photographs
- Each 32-page signature: $300
- Colour interior: Add $100 to total
Book Cover – full colour (front, back and spine only) $250
Company Branding – includes design of logo, letterhead, business card and envelope. You will receive camera-ready art in PDF format for each item of stationery, plus a set of logos in various formats for different uses (jpg, png, ai, tiff , colour and grayscale)
- Basic branding package: $300
- Microsoft Word version of letterhead or any other stationery item, add $100
Note: design limitations apply to letterheads in Word format - Logo only $250
Newspaper ads:
- Up to and including Quarter page: $50
- Half page to two-thirds page: $75
- Full page: $100
Magazine ads:
- Under half page: $75
- Half to full page: $150
Tri-fold brochure:
- Full colour: $200
- Spot colour or black and white: $150
OTHER SERVICES
Transcription: $35/hr. Provide a clear audio file that can be opened with VLC Media Player. English only. Transcription of a clear audio usually takes about four to five times the length of the audio. For instance, a 15-minute audio can take 1 to 1.25 hours. Heavy accents, background noises, several speakers at once creates difficulty and will increase transcription time. Jargon may also increase time. If you can provide a list of typical jargon used in the audio, it can save me time having to look it up or put [inaudible] tags in your transcript. Transcripts provided in MSWord .doc format.
Proofreading, light editing: $35/hr.
Pricing policy: Prices quoted as flat rates include the initial proof, plus two rounds of changes (proofs 1, 2 & 3). If required, work to produce proofs 4 and beyond will be charged at my regular hourly rate of $50.
Note: Prices do not include printing. Customers will deal directly with their printer, although I will be happy to liaise on your behalf as part of my service. Patti Moran Graphic Design will not be held financially responsible for press errors. Written approval must be provided by the client before print-ready files will be released. Written approval will constitute release from liability for any errors in final proof.
